Butter Pecan Cookies

These are salty, toasted, deliciousness.  --Might even cut back on the salt just a TAD next time.  But so good.  I pinned these from Sally's Baking Addiction (and just bought 2 of her cookbooks!).  I opted to roll the balls of dough in sugar before baking.  They look sparkly and pretty!  This recipe made  TONS of dough, so I've only made 2 batches so far.  I need to experiment more to cook them a little less for more chewy, less crunchy.  But these are fabulous.  Gonna make them into ice cream sandwiches tomorrow!
