Apple Fritter Loaf

Mmmm!  I chose this from my pins on Pinterest after an over-zealous farmer’s market trip and way too many apples on hand.  It was so easy and fun. The hardest part was dicing the apples, the best part was swirling the apples/sugar/cinnamon around in the dough. :)

 

My family likes these slices toasted well, so they don’t get soggy when slathered with a copious amount of butter ;)  My 12-year-old’s only complaint: not enough glaze (its drenched in glaze) 😂  But…since I’m mildly obsessed with my new waffle iron, I think I’ll need to try a slice of this waffled with extra glaze drizzled on top, just for her.  Yummy!
